First TransforMed technical brochures to support dryland agroforestry across the Mediterranean

These introductory publications present the main ecosystem services provided by agroforestry systems (AFS) and illustrate how different AF practices evolve over time influencing the landscape. They also showcase concrete experiences from project pilot sites, linking scientific foundations with field-based knowledge.

The brochures are designed for farmers, extension officers and rural development actors in the Maghreb and in Central Anatolia, and are available in English, French and Arabic for the Maghreb, and in English and Turkish for Central Anatolia. 

Importantly, these materials build on local experience and social knowledge, bringing together theory and practice in a concise and easily shareable format.

Developed through close collaboration with Mediterranean partners, translators and graphic designers, this first set of brochures establishes the foundation of TransforMed's dissemination strategy on agroforestry in arid and semi-arid areas. Further technical documents and educational videos are already in preparation!
